Explore Kathmandu’s cultural heritage, the natural beauty of Pokhara, and the wildlife adventures of Chitwan. Continue to Bhairahawa and Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, before returning to Kathmandu.

  • Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to your hotel.
  • Rest and relax.
  • In the evening, enjoy a walk around Thamel.

  • Visit the major cultural and religious landmarks: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa.Overnight: Kathmandu 

  • Travel to Pokhara by flight or scenic road journey.
  • Check in and enjoy a relaxed evening around Phewa Lake and Lakeside.
  • Pokhara is known for its lakes, mountain views and access to the Annapurna region.

Overnight: Pokhara

  • Early morning visit to Sarangkot for sunrise and mountain views. Continue to Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave and World Peace Pagoda.
  • Enjoy boating on Phewa Lake in the afternoon.

Overnight: Pokhara

  • Drive from Pokhara to Chitwan. After check-in, relax at the hotel and explore the surrounding area.

In the evening, enjoy a Tharu cultural program.
Overnight: Chitwan

  • Enjoy a full day of wildlife and nature activities, such as jeep safari, canoe ride, nature walk and birdwatching.
  • Chitwan National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage natural site and is known for its diverse wildlife.
  • Overnight: Chitwan

  • Drive towards Bhairahawa and continue to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Visit the Maya Devi Temple, Sacred Garden and Ashoka Pillar.
    Lumbini is about 22 km from Bhairahawa.

  • Explore more of the Lumbini area, including the monastic zone and museums, followed by leisure time.
  • Return to Bhairahawa for your overnight stay.

  • Transfer to Gautam Buddha International Airport for your flight back to Kathmandu.
  • Alternatively, travel by road if preferred.
  • The Nepal Tourism Board notes that Bhairahawa is connected with Kathmandu by air, while Lumbini is also readily accessible from Bhairahawa.
